![]() Now, Hasbro didn’t directly say what the Build-A-Figure for this series was going to be, but they did do the next best thing: they showed off the packaging, which clearly has “Monster Venom” printed onto the top corner. With its slick appearance, I think this will sell just fine, however. I really dig the white and black color scheme for this figure, even though a ML Poison wasn’t even in my top 1000 most-wanted Marvel Legends figures. With all things symbiote consistently selling well for Hasbro, can it be long before we get Agony, Phage and Riot to finish the quintet?įinally, we’ve got a character that’s only been around for about a year: a Marvel Legends Poison.įor those not keeping up with the comics, Poisons are predators that prey upon symbiotes and bond permanently with their hosts, consuming their memories and essences (that’s some scary shit right there). I think this figure may end up being a surprise hit at retail. Marvel Legends Scream will be the second of the five Life Foundation Symbiotes to get a Hasbro 6” figure this year. I like that we’re getting a female symbiote figure, and the colors and deco for the Scream action figure look awesome. This was in my Top 10 Marvel Legends Revealed at New York Toy Fair 2018 List, and I stand by it. I’ve heard a lot of hate for this Spider-Ham Legends figure because of the apparent lack of articulation, but I love how smooth and cartoon-like he looks. ![]() Perhaps the craziest Hasbro reveal of all at the show was Marvel Legends Spider-Ham figure, which includes a Pork Grind symbiote head that can be attached to the Venom body (no, really). I hope Hasbro double-packs both of these figures in the case assortment, because they are going to be in massive demand. The Eddie Brock head looks a little too big on the Venom body right now for my taste, but I LOVE the psychotic serial killer grin on the updated Marvel Legends Carnage figure. ![]() We had already seen official photos of the repainted Carnage and Venom figures prior to Toy Fair, but we got the first look at their alternate “unmasked” Cletus Kassidy and Eddie Brock heads at the show. With the Venom movie not due until October, I figured we wouldn’t hear much about the Marvel Legends Venom series until summer and San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Hasbro really took me by surprise at Toy Fair by showing off a whole lot more new figures than I was expecting them to. ![]()
